ACES

Athletic Canine Enthusiast Society

If you would like to come to an ACES day then you will need a crate for your dog to wait in while the other dogs are racing and dogs should wear a good, strong, well fitting collar.

Aces days are invite only, this is so we know everyone attending is made aware of the rules, please email us by clicking the link below to obtain more details.

ACES Championship days

These consist of 4 days and will be spaced evenly through the year, they will run as the field days run at the moment the difference being you can accumulate performance points at the ACES Championship show days.
You do not need to pay a membership to take part in the Championship days, just the normal entry for racing, points are awarded to the best performing dogs on the day

There are 4 categories
Dogs over 18 inch
Dogs under 18 inch
Large Bullbreeds (covering American Bulldogs, French Mastiffs, Mastiffs and any large breed)
Running dogs

Running dogs who do not partake in the AFrame competition will get.
1st = 30 performance points
2nd = 20 performance points
3rd = 10 performance points

100 performance points = ACES Champion
300 performance points = ACES Grand Champion

Gaining points - At the ACES Championship days there are points awarded for both lure racing and AFame.
1st = 15 performance points
2nd = 10 performance points
3rd = 5 performance points

In addition to the performance points given at the Aces Championship days, Aces day attendees collect 1 attendance point every meeting including Championship days.
These attendance points will only run for 12 months, Jan – Jan.
Attendance points can only be kept by dogs placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd.who have gained Performance points.

At  the ACES Christmas awards party we will give prizes for the most improved dog over the year and one for the dog that has attended most ACES days, any champions made up in the year will be celebrated too.

A reminder that these events are friendly competitions run by a friendly group of people, we are happy for anybody to join in, we welcome new people coming and having a go, we offer encouragement and will help you and your dog get the most out of the ACES events as well as helping you participate in many other activities with your canine friend.

We often film events for our own recoreds, at no point will this filming be apart of any publication, we will not allow filming by third parties.

We had been contacted by Tiger Productions and they have filmed one of our meets, everybody who attended knew what they was there for, not that you could miss the huge cameras and boom (seemed to be the dogs fave)
